Edition of Ben Watson's long-running weekly radio show Late Lunch With Out To Lunch dedicated to James Wilson, guitarist of Music With My Insane Friend, who posts guitar music on SoundCloud under the name I Digress Indeed. A series called "Bailey Recognisable" has seen Wilson pondering in public the implications of Derek Bailey's approach to guitar, resulting in the finest sequence of speculative essays on tonality since Conlon Nancarrow's player piano studies, or maybe even Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier. Watson is aware that such claims raise eyebrows, but replies: "Who would you say is doing such stuff these days? Philip Glass? Helmut Lachenmann? Don't make me laugh!". Nine "Bailey Recognisables" are aired here, together with Frank Zappa's "Sofa #2" and "Song for Folkies", in which Out To Lunch excavates the secret politics of the anti-urban brigade. The graphic poem is called "Fizz Fractured Ilk".
